Why Is Fear Important?

Fear is a toxic substance we’ve been force fed throughout the course of our lives. Spreading sluggishly through our system, the viscous substance seeps in and clogs every chamber of our hearts. Our fear level has a lot to do with our chances of getting hate disease. The higher the fear, the greater the risk for developing hate disease.

Hate disease is the number one killer of peace and unity in the “United” States of America. Each year, more than a million Americans have media-induced hysteria attacks, and about a half million people are crucified from hate disease.

How Does Fear Cause Hate Disease?: 

When there is too much fear (a tar-like substance) in our society, it builds up walls of separation. Over time, this buildup causes “hardening of the arteries” so that arteries become narrowed and love flow to humanity is slowed down or blocked.

The love carries compassion to the heart, and if enough love and compassion cannot reach our heart, we may suffer dehumanizing pain. If the love supply to a portion of humanity is completely cut off by a blockage, the result is relentless violence.

High fear itself does not cause symptoms, so many people are unaware that their political and media consumption are what feed their hate.

It is important to find out what our fear levels are because lowering fear levels that are too high lessens the risk for developing hate disease and reduces the chance of dangerously prejudiced and oppressive leadership, even if we already have it. Fear lowering is important for everyone—Christians and Muslims; Liberals and Conservatives; Gays and Straights; Blacks and Whites; Women and Men; and people with or without hate disease.

Fear Treatment: 

lovefearFear treatment to lower our hate begins with lifestyle changes. These are some of the things you can do something about:

• Reduce Media consumption: Advertising, political ads, news coverage and social media all send the constant message that people should be afraid—very afraid. Just like we must watch what we eat, we must also choose carefully what we feed our minds.

• Avoid Do-Gooder Slacktivists: That person that loves to share with you the outrage of the moment, but is not truly engaged or devoted to making a positive change. Develop a large and diverse network of good friends, that are uplifting, inspiring, and looking to make a positive contribution.

Increase Spiritual Activity: Pay attention to your spiritual life. We can get so caught up in our material needs, we sometimes neglect to care for our spiritual needs. Pray more, meditate more, spend more time in nature, practice more love and compassion.

    So very good to read your writing again. Not surprisingly, I agree with you completely Raimy, I try to stay out of the fray of fear mongering on all sides. A fearful society is easier to manipulate and take advantage of. If we all did as you suggest and practice our own spirituality, our world wouldn’t have protests it would have solutions. Hope you are doing well and life is good for you because you deserve it, my friend. Fear is a lie we choose to pay attention to.
